The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks primarily for our clinical supervisory team, with assistance to other departments within the branch.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, Google Suite and office equipment. They should also have intermediate knowledge of commonly used office equipment including scanning, emailing, faxing and printing documents. The workday consists of 8:30am to 4:30pm with a paid 30 minute break.

Ultimately, the successful Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

What you will be doing (including but not limited to)

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Represent the agency as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
• Process, log, & record incoming and outgoing faxes (electronic and physical)
• Handles all mail and shipping activities
• Scan and ship outbound files
• Assist with ordering and manage inventory of office supplies and medical equipment
• Maintains the physician licensure list
• Create and maintain files for field clinicians
• Perform internal document audits
• Scan any paper clinical documents
• Participate in annual audits
• Manage electronic filing and organization online

What you will bring:

• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace (most notably Drive, Docs, Sheets & Google Meet)
• Knowledge of medical terminology will gain strong preference
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
• Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers, scanners and fax machines
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary in a healthcare setting; Certified Medical Assistant qualification will be strongly considered

5. Completes and submits required documentation within established agency guidelines.

6. Monitors visit frequency and duration by reviewing physician’s’ orders and comparing to the Plan of Care and documentation.

1. Successful completion of an education program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.

2. Minimum of One year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

3. Successful completion of a Competency and Proficiency Test and Skills evaluation appropriate for the position upon hire.

Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN visit nurse is responsible for providing routine skilled nursing care in the home, consistent with accepted nursing practice and agency policies. The LPN is responsible for keeping the RN, Supervisor of Clinical Services, and the attending physician informed on each patient’s status and progress. The LPN operates within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. The LPN contributes to nursing assessments and care planning, provides direct patient care, and supervises patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Description of duties:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA/CNA) you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance with basic activities and daily living needs of patients. Examples of activities include: assistance with personal care such as bathing, transferring, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and selected homemaking and therapy services to our patients in their home or place of residence.
