What you will be doing:

  • Create and maintains staff schedules, including weekly productivity monitoring.
  • Monitor staff schedules and adjust for coverage as needed (e.g. sick leave, vacation, long term leave, etc.)
  • Create and manage weekend/holiday/on call schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for patients
  • Schedule client appointments/visits into EMR according to care plans, expected case load, and staff availability.
  • Create and manage LPN/RN Team schedules.
  • Contact and communicate with staff and clients regarding day-to-day changes, call outs, missed visits, rescheduling, etc.
  • Enter scheduling data into EMR/creates schedules.
  • Work closely with the branch to prioritize scheduling needs based on direction from the clinical management team.
  • Communicate regularly with clinical leadership on staffing needs, clinical workforce, strategies for coverage, lack of resources, availability of clinicians, etc.
  • Participate in morning rounds for scheduling for the day.
  • Enter staff and client information into EMR as needed.
  • Maintain staff and client statistics and reports.

What you will bring along:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Healthcare scheduling preferred but not required
  • 2 years of home health care experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
